Meet Dr. Keller
Dr. Rebecca Keller has been in private practice in dentistry and orthodontics for nearly 10 years. She is a third generation dentist with both her father and grandfather also having practiced dentistry; four other family members are also in the dental field. She was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and is a fourth generation Californian.
Dr. Keller attended the University of Southern California as an undergraduate and received her dental degree from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco. She then served as a clinical fellow at Harvard while studying oral medicine and hospital-based dentistry. Dr. Keller earned her master’s degree and certificate in orthodontics at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco. The two additional years of training required for a master’s degree provided Dr. Keller with her level of expertise in orthodontics. She previously worked as a clinical instructor in dental anatomy, radiology, and restorative dentistry at UOP. Dr. Keller has conducted research in the area of craniofacial malformations, especially cleft lip and palate. She traveled with a reconstructive surgery team to Guatemala on a medical mission to aid in the care of these patients.
Dr. Keller is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, having gone beyond the normal licensing requirements to obtain this high level of certification. She is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the Santa Clara County Dental Society. She is also a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontists and the Sunnyvale Chamber of Commerce. In addition, she is a member and guest lecturer for the Atta Girl Study Club and the South Bay Dental Study Club.
Dr. Keller and her husband, Josh, live in Sunnyvale and have two young daughters, Geary and Riley. They enjoy traveling, sports, music, and activities with their girls.
