Doctor-Led Treatment
Dr. Wainwright personally evaluates and oversees every case, including braces, Invisalign, and Phase I treatment. We do not rely on generic protocols or auto-approved aligner setups.

We assess growth, facial balance, bite function, and long-term outcomes before recommending care. Your plan is built around your anatomy and goals, not a template.
Orthodontics-Only Care
Orthodontics is the sole focus of our practice. That means your treatment is supported by specialized systems, dedicated workflows, and a team focused on long-term bite correction.

Board-Certified Orthodontist
Dr. Gabrielle Wainwright
Dr. Wainwright is a Bay Area native and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. She provides orthodontic care for children, teens, and adults using braces and clear aligners — with a thorough approach and a focus on healthy, stable results.
She grew up on the Peninsula, studied at UC Berkeley, and completed dental school and orthodontic specialty training at the University of the Pacific. Her approach is conservative and focuses on recommending what is clinically necessary, explaining every option clearly, and personally leading every case from first consultation through retention.
Off the clock
- She currently lives in Palo Alto with her husband Kevin, a robotics research scientist (and her high school sweetheart).
- She was born in Paris and lived there for 3 years before moving to the Bay Area, and she is fluent in French!
- Outside the office, she loves spending time with family, exploring the Bay Area, staying up to date on the latest movies and pop culture, and tracking down a great iced latte.

Gina
Scheduling Coordinator (RDA)
Gina has been in the dental field since 2005 and joined our practice in 2017. She’s often the first friendly face you’ll see and loves welcoming patients as their new smiles take shape.
Derrick
Treatment Coordinator
Derrick has worked in dentistry since 2018 and brings a strong customer-service background to every consultation. He guides families with clarity and care so each step feels straightforward and supported.
Sonja
Insurance Coordinator
Sonja has supported patients here since 2016 and is experienced in helping families navigate insurance and financial questions. She loves seeing smiles transform from start to finish.
Nitika
Orthodontic Assistant (RDA, OA Permit)
Nitika has been in dentistry since 2014 and joined our team in 2017. Known for her calming presence, she helps patients feel comfortable before, during, and after appointments.
Jetzy
Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)
Jetzy has been in dentistry since 2018 with experience across general, surgical, pediatric, and orthodontic care. She brings warmth, energy, and attention to detail to every visit.
Leslie
Leslie earned her RDA in 2016 and has experience in pediatric and orthodontic dentistry. She’s known for her upbeat, welcoming style and patient-first support.
Abby
Abby is Sonja’s pup and an occasional visitor at the office. If you spot her, expect a little extra joy and a few bonus smiles in the waiting area.
Our Story
Keller & Wainwright Orthodontics has cared for Sunnyvale families for over sixty years, with each generation of leadership building on the last.
The practice was founded by Dr. Robert Hortin, who mentored Dr. Rebecca Keller before her purchase of the practice in 2005. Dr. Keller and Dr. Wainwright both trained at the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, where the program director later recommended Dr. Wainwright to Dr. Keller as she looked for a partner. Dr. Keller brought her on, mentored her, and eventually passed leadership of the practice to her.
What began as one orthodontist’s practice has become a small, specialty-focused team — committed to the same standards across every generation, and to the Sunnyvale community we’ve cared for since the beginning.
